How long does it take for you to make a single beat?
Let’s just say you’re given a few samples and a limited amount of time (30mins) to create something, do you think you have what it takes to get a beat done within that time frame?
Let us know via the comments and if you’re keen, we might throw up a sample pack at a set date and have a quick challenge, say something like an hour or 2 to start off with, yeah? Cool!

yup you could make a beat in 30mins cant say if it would be outstanding though
but it is possible
Then again if your actually making a beat without samples it would take alot longer.

Watch this here bro…Not on the whole 30min process…these katts are given a sample to use live…and they jam a beat out. Its a competition in Chile like DMC but for beatmakers…These sth americans got some dope shit man.

5 minutez usually 2 make a beat but depends on the modd… but beatz like stomp wif nikki tana took bout a half hour… so did lose ur body wif knux

Can you give out an old-school Mo-town sounding sample for like a competition?
And maybe get the listeners to vote once all the NZ producers submit their tracks?
I dont mind if theres a time limit… 30days or 30mins, Im keen to get creative.
My track will probably sound sh!t anyway.

Mean, i use to enter beat comps on hiphopnz, when i was bout 13.. they use to giv a sample and a drum kit to use and we had to come up with something by the end of the week and send it in..
If AyeBro has one like every 1 or 2 weeks or every month or watever.. THATS MEAN! Keen bean…
Shot peeps for the feedback, much appreciated. Yeah, we could switch it up a bit. At the moment we’re doing Remixes every 2 weeks, could switch it up to have a sample pack included.
So this coming Monday could be a sample pack and then the following fortnight have a remix and keep switching from there.
Okay, will modify remixes tab to something different, anyone got a name, short and simple? Instead of Remixes, call it … ?????
p.s Will also suss out a sample pack, hmmmm …
